Seven people were arrested in Alicante on Thursday night and 2,250 kilos of hashish were confiscated by the Guardia Civil. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning on the coast between El Pinet de Elche beach and Salinas de Santa Pola, when a Guardia Civil patrol spotted a group of people unloading something from a small boat. Two of those present were detained immediately, but the others tried to escape and were located and arrested some time later.
