ABUSED PARENTS ON THE RISE

Abused children are often in the headlines but abused parents are only beginning to make the news. There have been several cases in recent months when parents have asked local authorities to take away their children because they can no longer put up with their abusive behaviour. Recently released figures show than 12% of minors - usually in their early teens - terrorise their parents and now that the subject is no longer taboo, the authorities warn that this figure can only rise.
