JELLY FISH ON THE COAST

Edition 526

Scientists at Italy's Central Research Institute have warned that the Mediterranean coasts could be affected by plagues of jellyfish as happened last summer in several areas along the Spanish coastline. The said the creatures could become a standard hazard for bathers as the temperature of the sea continues to rise because of climate change. They warned that other marine species could invade the Mediterranean thanks to the increase in temperature.
