Thousands of people in Torremolinos were without electricity on Tuesday night, after a cable became disconnected in El Pinillo area. The incident occurred at 9.15 p.m., and it took engineers from the Sevillana-Endesa electricity company over an hour to reconnect the supply. The repair was complicated by the fact that the cables in Torremolinos are underground, making it more difficult to access them.
