IN A BOX

How to vote Voting information is given in Muriel Pilkington's Political Round-up (on this page) but here it is once again. If you registered at your local Town Hall before the end of February (empadronamiento) but have not received any information about where to vote, go along to the Town Hall this week, and ask them to check the list. If you should be on it but aren't, ask to be put on it which - by law - should be done immediately. You will then be told which polling station you have to go to. The other alternative is to appeal for help to the political party you intend to vote for. Most of the parties have at least one foreigner on their lists who will be only too happy to answer all your questions.
