The police are searching for three men who got away with watches worth 90,000 euros when they robbed a jewellery shop in Torremolinos on Saturday. The robbery occurred at 9.50 in the morning when the men entered the premises, in Calle San Miguel, produced guns and threatened the owner. They are said to be foreigners, possibly Eastern European, and were all wearing dark anoraks and big hats. The owner of a shop across the street called the police when he realised that the men were clearing out the jewellery shop window, and neighbours say the jeweller tried to stop them but was hit on the head with the barrel of one of the guns, causing a wound which needed six stitches. The men are said to have escaped in an Audi A3, and the owner of the shop is hoping that they left enough clues for the police to identify them and recover the watches, which include makes such as Cartier, Omega and Hublot.
