A 34-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly threatening two other women with a knife in two separate incidents, and stealing their money. Both attacks occurred in the Parque Fluvial area of Mijas Costa last month. On the first occasion the suspect is said to have pressed a 35 centimetre-long knife against the ribs of a woman who was walking alone, and demanded money. The woman gave her 25 euros, but she was not satisfied until she had taken all the money the woman was carrying at the time. On the second occasion the target was a young woman who was pushing her four-month-old baby in a pram. The suspect allegedly held the knife to the baby's throat and threatened to kill him unless his mother gave her money.
