A mystery thief called "El Solitario" by police struck again last week, this time in Zamora. The police have been after him since 2000, when he started his bank robbery career. Apparently he only hits a bank when he needs money and he always wears a wig and a false beard. He carries a gun but uses it mainly as a threat. However, last week he was so disgusted when the bank cashier handed over a mere 6,000 euros that he shot her in the foot. He is also suspected of having killed two Guardia Civil when they tried to stop him on a highway.
